The Rotary Club of Cheat Lake puts the health and well-being of its members and the public above all else. Due to concerns about the coronavirus (COVID-19), and in accordance with recommendations, guidance, and directives from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the West Virginia, and Monongalia County Health Department, we are conducting our Weekly Rotary meetings both in-person and offering them virtually, on-line, using Zoom. The Mission of the Cheat Lake Rotary Club is to build meaningful friendships and build members up while we serve our local community as well as the world at large. We affect real change with real people interactions. We believe there is value by meeting in person each week, serving locally through hands-on projects as well as monetary donations and serving internationally with human development projects.
Rotarians bring intelligence, financial resources and willing hearts to help others grow, become more healthy, support themselves and build stronger relationships with others. Rotarians create meaning for life.
When we see a need, we don’t just look — we organize and take action to make this community, region, and world better because we are here. We are religiously, politically, and financially diverse. We act in unity and feel like a second family to each other.

It is an incredible honor to serve as President and continue the work that generations of dedicated members have carried forward over the past 47 years. Our club is filled with people who embody the very best of service, fellowship, and a deep commitment to strengthening our community.
